Joe Hart believes Burnley need to hit the refresh button and come out flying after the international break.
Sean Dyche’s men have mustered just one point from their opening four Premier League matches as their European adventure had a knock-on effect domestically.
Burnley’s latest defeat came at home to Manchester United on Sunday, with the 2-0 coming just days after bowing out of the Europa League to Olympiakos.
Now the Clarets have two weeks to recharge and Hart wants to hit the ground running when they return.
“The break comes at a good time for us; it’s as simple as that,” the experienced England goalkeeper told the club’s official website.
“The European stuff has really run in to us and we need to hit the refresh button.
“We have to be honest and be able to look in the mirror and say ‘it’s time to start again’.
“We have a great set of lads who are running on empty and a great manager who believes in us. We will work together and get the right things done.
“We are going to reset and we are going to fly out at Wolves with everything we’ve got and get back to what made this club successful.”
