Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has been included in Colombia’s senior squad for the first time.
The 22-year-old was named in a 23-man party chosen by under-20 coach Arturo Reyes for upcoming friendly matches against Venezuela and Argentina.
Morelos, who has played under Reyes for the youth side, has scored six goals in 10 games this season, including a hat-trick against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
Colombia take on Venezuela in Miami on September 7 before facing Argentina in New Jersey four days later.
Rangers recently rejected a £3.75million bid from Bordeaux for Morelos, who joined the Ibrox club from HJK for a reported £1million in June 2017.
Reyes is taking charge for both games as the Colombian FA are in contract talks with boss Jose Pekerman.
