Stuart Findlay extends Kilmarnock stay

Kilmarnock have confirmed that Stuart Findlay will remain at the club until the end of the season after extending his loan.

The defender initially joined Killie – for the second time following a spell in 2015-16 – on a six-month deal from Newcastle in the summer but has now prolonged his stay.

Findlay has been a regular in Lee McCulloch and then Steve Clarke’s first-team squad, making 16 appearances and scoring one goal.

The 22-year-old told the club’s official website: “It’s good. It has been a frustrating last couple of days trying to get everything sorted but knowing I’m going to be at Killie for the next six months is good and hopefully I can get back to work and hit the ground running.”
