This summer’s transfer deadline day is shaping up to be one of the most exciting and dramatic in recent years.
– Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal to Liverpool
– Serge Aurier from Paris St Germain to Tottenham
– Kylian Mbappe from Monaco to Paris St Germain
Deadline day is going along slowly with very little activity. It’s expected most of the major deals will be completed later in the day.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was the first major piece of business done, completing his transfer from Arsenal to Liverpool around midday.
Shortly after that, Tottenham has strengthened their squad by signing Paris St Germain full-back Serge Aurier.
Manchester City are still trying to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal but a second bid has been rejected.
